Biography

Born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Heidi has been passionately in love with singing, performing and entertaining her entire life. As a child she would never miss an opportunity to perform in front of any live audience; be it family, church, school or simply friends. Her passion for singing and performing has steadily grown over the years until today, through persistence, hard work, formal training, and learning from outstanding mentors in the field, she stands on the cusp of realizing her dreams. Heidi has been told on more than one occasion that she has “a natural tone and attitude to her voice that can’t be taught”. Heidi knows the hard work has just begun and must continue, and stands at the ready to do so. She also knows that when you love what you do, as she does, it can hardly be considered work. She is happiest when on stage performing or in the studio writing, producing or recording.

In late 2011, Heidi was excited to target her focus on the pop genre and began working with an outstanding artist/songwriter/producer, Chris Arms, to co-write, co-produce and sing original pop songs. She is currently enjoying the more lyrically and vocally challenging pop genre. Seven songs are in the works, with an expected full CD release in the spring of 2012. The CD will be a mixture of pop songs, all of which will portray Heidi’s deep feelings and attitude toward life. Song titles expected to be released on Heidi’s debut pop CD include; “Fools Game”, “Anyone’s Guess”,” It’s a new me”, “What would’ve happened” and “Enjoy the Ride”.

Heidi’s initial break came when a singing audition landed her acceptance into the highly competitive Ocean County Performing Arts Academy. The Academy provides an intense performing arts curricula focused in vocal music, dance, and acting. Heidi would spend the next four years in full time study, receiving formal training in each of the triple threats, while majoring in vocal music. All the while, being able to fulfill her desire to sing, entertain and perfect her performance skills in front of large live audiences during the many formal productions put on by the Academy.

After graduating from the Performing Arts Academy, Heidi went on to attend Ocean County College where she graduated Cum Laude with an Associates Degree in Visual Communications/ Graphic Design. She has successfully meshed the graphic design skills learned at College with her performing career, helping to create her own photo portfolio as well as CD cover graphics, to name a few. She finds that an eye for graphic design both complements and is a perfect fit with her role as a performer.

While attending College Heidi auditioned for, was selected, and then hired by Six Flags to host and sing in several daily shows at the Great Adventure theme park in Jackson, New Jersey. During the summer and fall of 2011, Heidi both emceed and sang in multiple daily live shows at the park, which took place in an open air theater that seats over 500. In addition to her emcee role, the shows included Heidi singing solo, some of her favorite current pop hits. The medleys included “Firework” by Katy Perry, “Miss Independent” by Kelly Clarkson, “So What” and “Perfect” by Pink, “Born this way” by Lady Gaga, and past hits by the Jackson 5.

During 2010, Heidi worked with producer, songwriter, Steve “Mr. Mig” Migliore co-writing, co-producing, and developing several new dance-pop song ideas. This collaborative effort resulted in the 2011 release of Heidi’s first co-produced song in which she sang the dance-pop single ‘Love Slave’. Love Slave rose to #4 on the Billboard Breakouts for Hot Dance Club play.

Heidi is currently a standing associate member of the Grammy Recording Academy and registered with BMI as a songwriter/composer.
